Volunteer Requirements
Because we serve children and families, safety is our top priority.
Basic Requirements
- ✔ Complete a volunteer interest form
- ✔ Participate in an interview or orientation
- ✔ Follow all safety and confidentiality rules
- ✔ Respect children, families, and staff
- ✔ Commit to a dependable schedule when assigned
Child Safety Requirements
- ✔ Background check may be required
- ✔ Fingerprinting may be required
- ✔ Health/safety training may be required
- ✔ Volunteers may not be alone with children unless fully cleared and approved
- ✔ Program approval is required before volunteering begins
